Today’s post is about the frustration that can come along with self-publishing – something I’m facing as I write this blog.
Starting a business is hard. (Believe me self-publishing is a business.) You work and work, and everything feels like it’s happening in slow-motion. Sometimes, nothing seems like it’s going right.
I’m on a treadmill. My feet keep moving, but I’m not going anywhere. Even so, I keep running.
The treadmill is on the steepest incline, and I get so tired I want to get off. Even so, I keep running.
Sooner or later, the treadmill will turn into a road, and I’ll make forward progress. Until then, I’ll keep running because the only way to fail is to stop. This race is a marathon, and I will reach the finish line.
